Ruksati is the moment when the bride leaves her parents’ home to start a new life with her spouse. It is often emotional and tearful, as it marks a transition for both the bride and her family.
6. Walima: This is usually a reception held by the groom’s family after the wedding. It is an occasion for family and friends to further celebrate the marriage and wish the newlyweds well for the future.
